Rathskeller is a game for people about to begin a roleplaying game campaign. 

In Rathskeller, players take on the roles of a group of townsfolk and outsiders with a mind for adventure, planning an assault on a wicked fane on the outskirts of town. They get to know each other, then begin their mission. What happens upon that mission is told to us only by the survivors.

In effect, Rathskeller replaces a 0-Level funnel with a brief conversation followed by a simple resolution of which characters live and which die. Those that live become 1st level characters in the game of your choice. Those that die take over running the game where Rathskeller leaves off.

Designed for short-term use, Rathskeller is now free to you, my friends, to begin your campaigns.
